Headball Inc. was founded in 1998 by Tony Smallmon ( Illinois "F" license) with the idea of educating coaches, parents and players of the proper technique of heading a soccer ball. Several studies have shown that the prolonged use of using your head to hit a soccer ball could cause possible paralysis. The studies have all concluded that technique, repetition and weight of the ball are also factors.
